Fawad Tamkanat

Fawad often says he “paints the way I live,” drawing on everyday life and memories. His cityscapes are personal narratives from charming towns (India, Europe, Middle East) and the people in them.

His art is owned by prominent collectors, including the Mukesh & Nita Ambani family in Mumbai.

The Mazda Art Festival (2025) cites him as “one of the most exceptional Indian artists today,” noting his 100+ solo exhibitions worldwide.

His cityscapes have travelled as widely as the artist himself within India and internationally, his work is held in prestigious collections including the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, and the Imago Mundi Museum in Italy. His Cityscape series has been featured in group exhibitions across India and abroad, and he marked his 100th international show at the Miami Art Fair in 2015, a testament to the enduring appeal of these urban narratives.
